Hi all SPM people!
I have an off-topic question again (auggh I hope I don't 'get a ticket'
because of this one).
I would like to know if any of you have an efficient way of creating a
research cv (I mean how to create the cv, not how to become a researcher
;) ). I am thinking in a database that includes all your papers,
projects, study degrees, etc. so you can format the output in a text
document whenever you need to send out your cv. If that's a database
then many things get really easy like: they can ask you for a cv with
papers from (say) 2001 to 2006, so a simple query would mask out all
older papers and your cv would be (hopefully) right in a minute.
At least in Spain they ask you to send your cv in many different ways
(i.e. when you apply for a research project they ask for a different cv
depending on the Institution that gives funding to the project).
If you have any sample database, any idea or at least comment, they will
be greatly appreciated!
Juan
