The new Crashlab crash test facility in Western Sydney has a camera
pit with clear plastic floor panel. It is designed for taking
underbody video during a crash tests and is wide enough to view the
tyres. Although the barrier face can be moved out of the way for car
to car collisions, a major problem for your purposes is that the tow
skate is stopped at the pit. However, you should contact the Crashlab
manager, Ross del Nevo about this. I have cc'd him with this reply.
