What has the Science Media Centre done to give anyone the impression that it
is among the "anti-science lobby groups masquerading as science public
outreach initiatives"?
I have always considered them to be a bit too cosy with science, and far too
aligned with 'Fleet Street,' but these are different issues. I can even
understand why they behave like that. I am not their target audience.

The purpose of my reference to this stable of organisations was to
highlight the fact that what we have here is an ideological Hydra, of
which Martin Durkin and a number of anti-science lobby groups
masquerading as science public outreach initiatives are a part.
Organisation names may change, but the people involved are the same.
