I was just talking about Fahey tonight in connection with one of this
"acolytes," Peter Gregg, who plays astounding fingerpickings on a
12-string guitar. Gregg apparently was also a close friend of Robbie
Basho. Leo Kottke was recommended to me if I enjoy seeming improvs that
nevertheless are carefully shaped. Yes, I enjoy them.
Fahey's rendition "Grandfather's Clock" was a sound to behold.
