ENGAGING COMMUNITIES: CAREER DEVELOPMENT GROUP UK NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2007
Jubilee Library, Brighton, Monday 30th April 2007 (booking closes 16th April)
Information professionals want to reach people, to learn about and provide for their needs, to connect with those who don't yet use services but could potentially benefit from them. This conference brings together contributors from a variety of sectors (public, academic, youth, health, prisons) who will unfold their experiences, celebrate achievements and share lessons learned.
> Reaching out to a new or hard-to-reach user group?
> Wondering how other LIS services have succeeded in engaging their communities?
> Planning a new project or initiative, but lacking inspiration or direction?
