incredibly
still no definitive word on the iranian version of the
arrest location
&
tho i have seen better images of this on tv
the best internet pic i have found of yesterdays
iranian tv presentation of a captive british
serviceman showing the iranian version is still too
unclear to be read with any confidence
http://images.ctv.ca/archives/CTVNews/img2/20070401/460_ap_solider2_070401.jpg
or wouldnt you agree
or has anyone seen anything better
but still
there does seem to be a readable designator arrow
there in magenta
at or near what appears to be the outlet of the
navigation channel
& also very near what is most probably the e48d45m
longitude line
as well as a fifth of the way up from the likely
n29d50m latitude line to the likely n29d55m latitude
line
& this suggests that my earlier semi educated guess
of the little triangular area just seaward of the land
boundary terminus
shown in the ibru map
http://www.dur.ac.uk/ibru/resources/iran-iraq/
could yet prove to be nearly or exactly correct
so i am delighted to think again that we could well
have a situation here that is outside the estuary &
thus beyond the land boundary terminus
&
on the iranian side of the peculiar iranian straight
baseline
& yet
at the same time
on the iraq side of the ibru estimated median line
or just as i had supposed & frankly hoped earlier on
a probability in which everyone is right
