Hi all,
Is there an "approved" way of adding a new map extension (for ccp4 format
maps) in coot?
My attempt at overloading handle-read-ccp4-map (re-defining the original
handle-read-ccp4-map, and creating a temporary symlink) in ~/.coot doesn't
seem to be responding to the events from File->Open Man, although it's
callable from the scripting window.
Any ideas if this approach could be made to work by updating an event
listener, or am I better of changing molecule_class_info_t::read_ccp4_map
and re-compiling? Or should I be doing something else entirely?
Renaming the files would be the obvious fix, but I'd like to avoid
confusion with the large number of phases maps I've got laying around on
disk, all with the extension ".map" (I've been using ".ccp4" for ccp4 maps
and masks).
