Now will you guys STOP! I'm in a town in the arse-end of nowhere where I
can't buy butter or cheese or 'normal' milk or cinnamon or ... or ... or ...
When someone in this foreign teachers community goes to the Big Smoke
(Beijing or Shanghai) they go with a shopping list from the rest of us. I
have a cupboard full of various coffees coz you can only buy Nescafe instant
here - made in China. Yuck.
... so dreams of apple pie float in my head (to paraphrase something ... an
echo a la another thread) ... Next time I'm in your town, Joanna, I demand
scones. Bewdiful.
