Remember, too, that parody is _protected_ speech (cf.
the Supremes' ruling in the so-called "Pretty Woman"
case from the 1990s). In sum, there are a lot of
issues to be trotted out in a single expression.
No, I'm not backing down here, just reminding people
that, as with all speech, the issues are extensive and
complex. Also, as far as I'm concerned, feelings
matter. If that's read as a girly-girl response, so be
it.
