Hi Steven
We asked about this a little while ago and Turnitin UK said that they can't be accepted at the moment, but they were working on it. No news of when this would be included. They recommended saving back to .doc if possible.

Subject: Word 2007 .docx files
Does anybody know whether there are plans for TurnitinUK to support
uploads of .docx files? These are the default files produced by Word
2007 and increasingly I'm seeing students turning up having had problems
uploading their work because it's in such a file. (This being despite
the fact that none of the computers in our student labs have Office 2007
installed at present!)
Thanks
Steve
