The Role:

 

The Education Consultant is responsible for conducting SAS courses and workshops at SAS Training Centres and at customer sites with the aim of maximising the customers' use and knowledge of SAS Software. 

 

These courses may be standard courses/workshops from the Public Course Schedule, or tailored courses/workshops to suit particular customers' requirements which will involve defining or reviewing new or updated course content and the development of certain training materials, as required.

 

The role also supports the Education Business Development Managers in providing training needs analyses for customers through telephone calls and customer visits and may require the successful candidate to become involved in Special Roles and Projects as required including looking at investigating new business areas or representing Education at appropriate workgroup meetings.

 

With a Statistics Degree you will ideally have had some previous experience either of training, lecturing or coaching individuals however appropriate training will be provided depending on the need of the individual.

 

Please be aware that 30-40% of the role will be travel based with time spent away from home, otherwise based in Marlow and/or Glasgow/Manchester.
