Thanks, that makes it sound much as it has been, a little early yet. I
certainly know a few sites that are still stuck at 1.4, mainly because
that's what Starlink deployed. We'd also need to persuade RAL to update to
1.5 for the nightly builds...
There are some projects that claim to process Java 1.5 bytes codes into
Java 1.4. If generics are really calling to you, they might help. See:
