Dear list members
The National Archives has advertised for a new Head of Collections and
Research. The key functions of the post are:
- To provide leadership in the development of national collection and
research strategies.
- To lead new thinking on the nature of future collecting.
- To develop strong collaboration with the universities and research
councils, including developing strategies for the dissemination of
research findings and the delivery of digital content to them.
The post might appeal to someone with an academic background in research
on modern public records in STM and an interest in developing future
strategy on government record-keeping.
