Branching Out to Croydon
Since it was formed in April 2004 CILIP in London has had a number of
successful open meetings in Central London. There have been monthly
meetings in a proper pub in Finsbury and three meetings each year
including the AGM followed by a speaker at CILIP 7 Ridgmount St WC1E
7AE, all with significant refreshments. These meetings have also enabled
colleagues from a wide variety of London LIS to rub shoulders, to
network.
Travelling to Central London for a meeting at 6 pm is difficult for many
Branch members and we have decided to Go South to Croydon for a meeting.
It will be a repeat of a successful meeting in November 2005 when
trainer Sheila Ritchie conducted an interactive session, precept and
practice, on Networking.
