The last time I was given information directly by Eduserv about
non-Gateway-compliant resources, I understood that the only resources
that should suffer from fundamental problems (working via the Gateways)
were those that also failed to work with AthensDA; because they had not
upgraded to the appropriate version of the Athens supplier software.
The position may have changed by now. Can Eduserv enlighten us? - and
explain why some resources cannot work via the Gateways?
LSE decided not to adopt AthensDA (because we were well advanced in
using Shibboleth at the time for the appropriate decision, and were also
aware of the original planned availability date for the Shib-to-Athens
Gateway). Are there now any resources that use Athens, but don't work
with AthensDA?
