This advert has been sent to the Museum Studies Jobs Desk, http://www.le.ac.uk/ms/jobs/job_titles_jobid.htm but before accepting it, I have asked for their comments on the low salary.
If I remain unconvinced that it falls within the Museums Association guidelins, I will be unable to accept and display it.

Subject: Re: [GEM] Education Activities Supervisor
I am sorry to bring this up again, but should GEM be advertising jobs that are so clearly underpaid? Surely jobs should only be advertised that fit into the Museums Association's pay scales, as even if this job is up for review, it is unlikely to make any significant difference. Should GEM be doing more to push the Museums Association's pay scales or is should payscales be purely up to the governing bodies of each organisation?
I know this is a familiar rant, but so is the lack of pay for museum staff, particularly education staff.
