We have funding for a PhD studentship to be based at FMRIB, Oxford
and to be jointly supervised by Dr Thomas Nichols (GSK) and myself.
The proposed title is "Powerful cluster modelling & inference methods
for new types of brain functional imaging data", though there is some
flexibility in the choice of project (it will definitely lie within
neuroimaging methodology development and be strongly engineering/
maths/stats oriented).
This is a Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award (DHPA); the eligibility
is restricted to student nationals from India, China, Hong Kong,
South Africa, Brazil, Russia and the developing world, as defined by
the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD. For more details on
eligibility, see http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/hodgkin/eligibility.htm
To apply, please send your CV plus details of two referees by e-mail
to [log in to unmask] by 9th April 2007.
Thanks, Steve.
