Dear Brian,
Assuming you mean the MolSystem.Chain.code, yes there is.
The chain code is the key for the chain object. In other words it is the
attribute that identifies the chain (within a MolSystem), and is used to
refer to the chain from the outside. For instance, a MolStructure.Chain
also has a Chain.code, and we assume that the MolStructure.Chain
corresponds to the MolSystem.Chain that has the same code. If the
Chain.code was modifiable this would go uot the window.
