Do any of you have targets for turnaround time of Biochemistry samples
from A&E? We currently have a target of 90% U&E samples should be
turned around within 60 mins (specimen receipt to electronic report
being available). We are now under pressure to change our target to 90%
within 40 mins.
I would be grateful to any labs who would be prepared to share any
turnaorund targets for A&E samples and also what targets they believe to
be realistic. If I get any replies I will summarise them on the
mailbase.
Thank you in anticipation.
