Call for Papers
Differential Evolution Special Session
IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, CEC-2007
Singapore, September 25-28, 2007, http://www.cec2007.org/
Original, unpublished work is invited.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Theory of differential evolution
- Analysis of parameter settings (population size, scale factor,
crossover rate)
- Multi-objective differential evolution
- Differential evolution for noisy problems
- Differential evolution for constrained optimization
- Hybridization (with local search and other soft computing approaches)
- Connections to / comparison with particle swarm optimization
- Applications in all areas
While submitting your paper using the on-line paper submission system,
please choose "SS04: Differential Evolution" as the "Main Research Topic".
Special session papers are treated the same way as regular papers in all
respects, namely review, presentation, and publication in the proceedings.
Authors of selected papers from among those accepted for the
differential evolution session will be invited to submit enhanced and
substantially improved versions for review (decision within 4 weeks) for
possible publication in a special issue of the journal New Mathematics &
Natural Computation http://www.worldscinet.com/nmnc/ or as chapters in
an edited book (Springer).
Paper Submission Deadline: March 15, 2007
Decision Notification: May 15, 2007
Camera-Ready Submission: June 15, 2007
