I use XnView, which is open source and can be downloaded found at
www.xnview.com.
It does have a few added features, apart from just viewing, but it's
still a neat little program.
Hope this helped

Subject: ICC profile aware image viewer for Windows
Can anyone suggest a simple image viewer program for viewing JPEGs that
can display images in a bigger colour space than sRGB or even handle ICC
profiles? The programme must be for image viewing only, no 'bloatware'
editing features or if it does they must be able to be hidden or turned
off somehow. Similarly database type programmes like iView are not
suitable either.
Many Thanks
