The Royal Opera House is the major lyric arts theatre in the United
Kingdom enjoying an international reputation for excellence. The Royal
Opera House Collections contain materials covering the history of the
three theatres that have stood on the site since 1732. With the growth
of our activities, the Royal Opera House Collections are looking for an
Office Administrator to support the Head of the ROH Collections across a
range of work and departmental activities.
Reporting to the Head of the ROH Collections, the role includes:
• Offering administrative support, including managing the diary and
dealing with enquiries
• Document support, minute taking and preparing reports
• Managing the office, including maintaining office supplies,
ordering and invoice tracking
• Undertaking project work and research as directed
The ideal candidate will be a team player with these key aptitudes and
experience:
• Ability to deal with people at all levels in a confident and
professional manner
• Experienced Microsoft Office user with a systematic approach to
administration
• Strong time management and the capacity to manage a busy workload
• The ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads and
flexibility to work off-site or long hours on occasion
