The Health Statistics User group (HSUG) will host a meeting to respond
to the UKCeMGA's Consultation Paper re future public spending on the
NHS
called "Public Service Productivity - Health" currently on the ONS

* The RSS, Lecture Theatre, 12 Errol Street, London EC1Y 8LX
* Tuesday 20 March 2007
* 5.30 pm (refreshments) for 6.00 pm start
* Speaker - PHILLIP LEE from UKCeMGA, and another from DH
1. The meeting in the RSS Lecture Theatre on TUESDAY 20 MARCH from 6.00
PM - 7.30 PM, is to enable a response to this consultation, at which
Phillip Lee (UKCeMGA) will speak by way of introduction to this topic.
The meeting will take the form of a presentation, followed by a question
and answer session and then discussion with issues raised.
2. The purpose of the session will be to clarify understanding of the
UKCeMGA paper and to provide the opportunity to discuss issues and raise
questions arising from the consultation paper to form a HSUG response
which has to be submitted by 3 April 2007.

This website holds the details of the paper and the DH & ONS response so
far to this. Some questions have been composed to focus some specific
responses .
Comments at the meeting will be noted and taken from the meeting to form
a framework for this response. Attendees are welcome to provide their
own formal responses after the meeting via a written submission to
