hello all.....
I presented at trace when my work was just really bubbling and was thrilled
to find an incredible nexus of digital writing then and the many months
before as a fan. I met some amazing people that I am still proud to
consider dear friends and got the empowerment of a sense of community that I
dearly needed as an experimental writer. Sue is an amazing person and she
worked incredibly hard for trace. I was beyond overjoyed to get to hang out
with her and my buddy tim wright when we all were presenting at MIT last
year and it was like family to me. I am also friends with Alan and Paul
Brown thanks to Trace. I felt so alone before my involvement with trace in
terms of any sense of community as a new media /locative media writer.
and yes.......publishing back channel messages is etremely insulting,
unethical and a huge breach.......especially when used to smear someone as
wonderful as Sue
