We would prefer extending the period to Monday morning

We (UKI ROC) are sympathetic to this and agree that it would be better. As you can see from the replies below the CIC-portal implementers do not find this a trivial request. It seems everyone in EGEE is impacted by changes and not just individual ROCs. We can raise this again at the operations meeting but before then we need a clear indication of how many sites are unhappy with the current situation.

Unfortunately we can not tell people at the sites what to do; we can only ask them to use the processes provided. There is no ROC reason to have the reports close until the middle of Monday morning so we do not have much of an argument. I have always been in favour of allowing the maximum possible time for RC reports to be submitted. It is a pity that this issue keeps reappearing and I quite understand how frustrating this must be for you. We are representing the sites and this is what they are asking.
