Yes those are the symbols for the version of SLALIB used by AST (it has
its own). I'd guess you need to update your AST build:
> ast_link
-last -last_wcslib -last_pal -last_grf_2.0 -last_grf_3.2 -last_pass2
-last_err -lm -lstarmem
should have that libast_pal library.
