Dear Kevin,
it appears that in your mexopts.sh file CC is set to gcc-3.3, i.e.
that version 3.3 of the gnu c-compiler should be used for compiling C
files. And it also appears that you don't have it installed. In a
terminal window type gcc and then press the tab key to see what (if
any) version of gcc you have installed.
If it is indeed the case that it isn't installed on your machine (it
doesn't appear when you press tab) you can go e.g. to
http://developer.apple.com/tools/
to download it.
Alternatively there will be updates of both the SPM2 and SPM5
versions of Fieldmap and Unwarp released shortly. I will try and
remember to include Maci binaries for the mex files in that release.
Good luck Jesper
