Dear friends
I am interested to explore the subject of "poetics" in relationship to
practice, and particularly in relationship to therapeutic practices. I have
a colleague who is keen to open up this exploration for her Masters and I
too am interested to find out if this movement which I engaged with in my
thesis has energy in this forum.
A core references is David Whyte's work using poetry to work into the
corporate heart of organisations (eg: Crossing the Unknown Sea: Work as a
Pilgrimage of Identity, 2002). However Moyshan's and Alan's practices are
also strongly relevant here. If anyone is interested to reflect on
developing poetry as a form of transaction in living systems, poetics as a
theoretical frame, and shifting your practice accordingly, sensitive to the
complexities of the context in which you are working, I would love to hear
from you. Any references (web/text) also gratefully received.
Cheers
Susie
