Many thanks for the replies to the references query. W
Dear All,
Many thanks for the replies to the references query. We have decided to
go with the references, the company stated it was not their policy to
give any further detail. However, we have decided to include a
probationary period in the contract. I was quite surprised that the
Trust does not usually do this, but feel it offers some breathing space.
Regards
Tracy

Subject: Re: [OCC-HEALTH] REFERENCES
Dear Tracey
My company will only provide that sort of reference no matter how good
or bad the person is in their job. They will refuse to fill in any
forms etc sent by the prospective employer. We are able to ask a
manager for a reference but it will be a personal one not on behalf of
the company. I think I would prefer that as at least the person writing
it hopefully knows you.
Regards
Sue
