"Coincidence Studies of the Reactivity of Multiply-Charged Molecular Ions"
A vacancy exists for a 2-year postdoctoral
position in the Department of Chemistry at
University College London. The post is funded by
the EPSRC (UK Engineering and Physics Sciences
Research Council). Candidates may be of any
nationality, but must have a strong background in
experimental physical chemistry or physics.
Experience with high vacuum techniques is
essential and experience with either
time-of-flight mass spectrometry or coincidence
techniques would be an advantage. The starting
salary is £26,666 pa on the UCL Grade 7 scale
(which will be £26,666 to £32,796) plus a London
Allowance of £2,572. The post is available from 1
October 2007. Progression through the salary
scale is incremental. Cost of living pay awards
are negotiated nationally and are usually effective from 1st August each year.
