if one were an art hysterian, one might wish for larger .jpgs of the
architectural details, especially since this building is a very rare (unique?)
example of what "romanesque" architecture (and architectural sculpture) looked
like in the Parisian region --and it appears that it can be confidently dated
to within a very few years, which is *really* a rarity.
the article i was thinking of is cited: Bulletin Monumental, Tome 157-III,
1999, p.283 et sq.
and other recent scholarly work is nicely summarized.
