The problem is that the latest NLH communication seems to be at variance with one via Debbie Hagon on LIS-MEDICAL on 16/01/2007. Colin Davies was then "working with Joan and Muir to agree a statement" which was going to come out in a few days. Now NLH can't say anything.
We seem to be going backwards ...

There has been some discussion on LIS Medical about copyright. Can you
please inform your network that Connecting for Health is speaking with

CLA. The reason there is silence from the NLH central team is because we
are
not authorised to speak on this matter.
There have been questions about journal clubs. This question was
explored at
length last year and we were not able to gain a definitive answer from
the
experts. Unfortunately we still do not have an answer.
