Information Literacy Community of Practice at Staffordshire University (ILCoPSU) workshop

Wednesday 28th Februrary 2007, 1:30 - 4:30pm

Ashley Building Centre for Professional Management, Stoke on Trent

We are pleased to announce the third of a series of workshops which aim to share good practice and discuss new ideas in IL teaching and learning within the university sector.

This will be held at the Ashley Centre for Professional Management (Rooms LT114/116), Stoke site.

The speakers for the half-day (1:30pm - 4:30pm) workshop are:

Lucy McKeever: Netskills, Newcastle University. 

Julie Adams: Learning Support, Information Services, Staffordshire University. 

Lucy McKeever will be discussing the work Netskills have undertaken on the JISC i-skills project.

Julie Adams will be discussing approaches to integrating IT into Learning Support.

Outline programme

1:30 - 2:00pm - Registration and refreshments

2:00 - 2:15pm - Introduction to the afternoon

2:15 - 3:15pm - Lucy McKeever

3:15 - 3:30pm - Refreshments, Danish pastry and networking opportunity

3:30 - 4:30pm - Julie Adams

Workshop information

Cost for the half day is £30.

Places are limited to 55.
