*** Apologies for cross posting ***
We are looking into the possibility of installing chip and pin
transactions at our issue desks. I would really appreciate it if anyone
could help me out by answering the following questions. Many thanks in
advance.
1. Is there evidence to suggest that chip and pin has increased your
income? Has anyone had a noticeable increase in fine collection?
2. Have any students been put off by it?
3. Has it created any problems for:
a Staff - administrative problems - cashing up and ensuring
electronic payments and till receipts tally?
b Technical issues - cards not working, telephone line problems or
hardware/software faults?
c Customers - unsure what to do (although this shouldn't be too much
of a problem these days)?
4. Have any of your staff been unhappy to offer this service?
5. Any other thoughts on what impact this service has had for you?
With best wishes,
Martin Edwards
