Bookings are still being taken for the following meeting -
SLIM (Special Librarians in the Midlands)
Positive Professionalism
Librarians refer to themselves as a profession, but what does it actually
mean and how is professionalism manifested? The term professional is used
everywhere:
to describe specific job roles
to describe behaviours
to describe services
But do we behave professionally and how can we ensure a positive approach?
Come along to enjoy a lively discussion, led by Lyndsay Rees-Jones, Senior
Adviser, WorkForceDevelopment, CILIP.
This FREE event is co-supported by CILIP, The Chartered Institute of Library
and Information Professionals, and Information Unlimited, the Midlands-based
consultancy. It is open to all special librarians in the Midlands.
