His plea for open access to data collected using public funds his
incredibly powerful.
His plea for NOT regionalizing our response to the challenges that
exist is also well evidenced.
His exemplary use of a whole range of presentation techniques,
highlighting the importance of:
Humour including self deprecation
Self credentialing
Visual aids
Vocal style
Relatively simple language
Presentation of data without explicit conclusion (but very obvious
implicit conclusion) when the conclusion might be controversial
is just stunning.
This is well worth watching both to learn about the topic he speaks
to, and more generally for anyone who ever has to give presentations.
