Second International Blended Learning Conference: "Supporting the Net

International Blended Learning Conference will be held at the University of
Hertfordshire on Thursday 14th June 2007

Call for Papers, Posters & Virtual Posters
The aims of the conference are to explore, share and debate how we support
the Net Generation Learner through Blended Learning.
The programme committee invite the submission of contributions for the
International Blended Learning Conference at the University of
Hertfordshire. Contributions are sought on a range of topics related to
blended learning and the net generation learner. These might include, but
are not restricted to: curriculum design, computer supported collaborative
learning, computer aided assessment, learning materials and learning
objects, content management systems, change management strategies,
institutional policies, staff and student perspectives.
Submissions fall into two categories:
1) Presentations - a 20 minute presentation at the conference. Selection
will be made from initial submission of an abstract. A paper of unpublished,
original work (1000 - 4000 words) may then be submitted for peer review to
be included in the proceedings.
2) Posters and Virtual Posters - selection will be made from initial
submission of an abstract. A paper of unpublished, original work (1000 -
4000 words) may then be submitted for peer review to be included in the
proceedings.
- Contributions for both categories may include research, work in progress,
small scale innovation and major development activity.
- The closing date for abstracts in both categories is Friday 9 February
2007
- The proceedings will be published with an ISBN number after the
conference.
