I think the key easy mashup component here is the date
you could for instance go out to "ical format" and then instantly
pull all courses into a calendar such as google calendar...
There is a museums timeline serive in the US -
I'm sure there will be something else out there that graphs an ical
format set of data labels i.e. numbers across time ...
