Greetings all,
I have been lurking on this list for a while, so it's probably about time I fessed up :)
I am presently doing combined honours in Religion & Theology and Sociology at Monash university in Melbourne, Australia. My thesis is entitled “Translating Hermetic Magical practice for the Southern Hemisphere?”. I am about to undertake a questionnaire of people who do circle rituals in the southern hemisphere to see if and how they have adapted these rituals and their rationales for doing, or not doing so. A secondary goal of this research is to find out what kind of people from what kind of traditions/practices etc think they are doing hermetic stuff. Anybody who is interested in taking the questionnaire is very welcome to contact me.
I am interested in Hermetica of all kinds and from all time periods. I have a serious book problem. Which is to say I would rather buy books than food. Especially nice, old, musty books with leather covers and gilding... MMMmmmmmmm booooookkkss... Having said that, three of my favourite words in the whole universe are 'full text search'.
Regards,
Morgan Leigh

Dear all,
I just wanted to welcome new members and encourage them to post an introduction and start a thread - it has quietened down of late.
