CK Clinical is currently handling a vacancy, with a mid-size pharma company, for an experienced individual to work as part of the Statistical Programming team in charge of Outcomes Research. 
The position can either be based in Belgium (Brussels) or US (Atlanta) only. Unfortunately there is no possibility of teleworking or working in the UK with this role.

This is a 6 month contract (extendable) and the rate will be agreed based on the experience of the candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Biostat and SAS background. The ideal candidate would be statistician (i.e. MSC in Statistics) with good SAS programming skills.  Experience managing large SAS databases is an asset.

Role and responsibilities:
- Primarily provide programming support to HOPE (Healthcare Outcomes and Pharmaco-Epidemiology) team, creating Analysis Datasets (ADs) and Tables, Figures and Listings (TFLs) based on large claims databases.
- Provide programming support and validation of analysis data sets, pooled datasets, statistical summary tables, figures and patient data listings for phase I - phase III clinical trials, primarily using SAS. 
- Provide output for the Clinical Study Report, the Integrated Summary of Safety (ISS), the Integrated Summary of Efficacy (ISE), electronic submissions and Exploratory Health Outcomes Research Reports.
- Based in Atlanta or Belgium, will work with Health Outcomes specialists (Patient Reported Outcomes Specialist, Epidemiologist, Health Economist) and programmers based also in other sites (primarily Belgium).
- Apply knowledge of clinical data, the design and phases of clinical trials, statistics, relevant regulations and the pharmaceutical industry to the implementation of tasks. 
- Handle complex statistical programming issues independently and be familiar with study programming issues. Bring ideas for new projects and take the initiative to solve issues.
