Dear All,
I was wondering if members had any good practice examples (likely to be
local highway authorities) relating to the allocation of designated
residential parking bays for disabled people? This could be policies or
actual schemes or both. I know that several authorities in Wales are
struggling with demand and have created long waiting lists, but are there
any authorities that have cracked the problem?
Any information on the statutory requirements would also be helpful – are
there minimum standards of provision for example and what would be optimum
provision? Any views/thoughts welcome!
Many thanks,
Graham Findlay
