Information Scientist
Circa £24-30,000 per annum London
You will be responsible for supporting the information needs for the
National Collaborating Centre for Primary Care which develops guidelines
for the NHS on behalf of NICE.
Working with the development team, you will be responsible for developing
search strategies and carrying out searches on a variety of bibliographic
databases for the guideline areas under review and for communicating these
to the guideline development group.
You will have a postgraduate qualification in librarianship/information
science and have at least one years experience in a biomedical or
scientific library searching databases and using bibliographic management
software.
In this high profile and evolving area, you will need to be flexible and
innovative, able to communicate with experts in a variety of clinical
areas as able to work to tight deadlines and deliver on time.
