Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.
TSA has been funded by the Alcohol Education and Research Council to
research the effects of an intervention seeking to reduce binge drinking
among young people in Caerphilly, South Wales. In more detail, the
intervention involves young people creating 'digital stories' about their
views and experiences with alcohol and showing these to young people in
schools and youth groups in the local area. The project is working alongside
Caerphilly Borough Council who are responsible for creating and delivering
the digital stories.
TSA is looking for a researcher to help out for all, or some, of the
research tasks which involve administering and analysing pre- and
post-intervention questionnaires, some interviews and some focus groups.
The project is due to start in Feb/March and more details will follow - at
this stage we are only looking for people to express an interest. Obviously,
living near to South Wales would help……
