Main purpose of the role:
To provide data analysis and database management support, and contribute to the publication of reports from the clinical studies of the Biomarker Programme.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Analyze data from the Biomarker and Population studies by applying standard and robust statistical techniques to obtain reliable results for reporting and publication
2. Organize and manage data from the Biomonitoring studies by building and maintaining database systems to ensure effective and efficient data storage and accessibility for publication and regulatory submission
3. As a statistics expert in the Biomonitoring Group, contribute to the writing of analysis reports for the Biomarker studies, so as to provide results in a format suitable for interpretation and to draw conclusions for the Biomarker Programme Scientists.
4. To liaise effectively with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for the analysis, reporting and interpretation of the Biomarker studies
5. To present company work programmes at scientific meetings and conferences, contribute to the publication of peer-reviewed papers and contribute to the company's scientific engagement strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* A degree in statistics, skilled in the use of statistical packages for data analysis, preferably SAS
* Strong experience with analysis of data from clinical trials, including a considerable experience in working on clinical database management systems
* Good communication and report writing skills
* A team player possessing the ability to clearly present statistical data
Key Success Factors
1. High quality statistical analysis and reporting of the data from the Biomarker and Population studies.
2. A robust unified database platform for the storage and access of data from the various Biomarker studies.
3. Publication of research in scientific journals as well as presentation of clinical study findings at industry/scientific conferences.
