As the initiator of the discussion I should respond.
We are just being cautious.
Any suggestion of domestic violence and we are attempting
to ensure that there are always two people in the room
during any interaction.
The index case was recently admitted to a local hospital
(overdeveloped community unit).
I had already spoken to the male staff members and they
did the same, clinical support workers included.
They also had someone countersign in the notes all
interactions.
Our lad is trying to initiate a judicial review or appeal.
BAPIO are taking an interest as are Hospital Doctor.
I believe that a transcript is being sought, these cost a
fair amount and the lad was not from monied family.
I am told there is a campaign developing from his friends.
Until the transcript is seen the real risk is uncertain to
the rest of us. If the trancript does not confirm the
perception of collusion that several had from the summing
up in actual words, then it can't be used as case law and
we are safe, a pause or raised eyebrow or intonation is
not recorded. if the transcript does support the heard
perception then we are all vulnerable.
