Dear Jack and all,
Just to confirm that you can now listen to a recording of the interview on
'Virato Live' at the site Jack gives below.
It was a nerve-racking experience, what with late start, technical hitches,
time pressure etc, and as ever on these occasions I felt a bit disappointed
afterwards, feeling a sense of 'what might have been', what I could have
said and perhaps should have said. But, at least something was said and I
hope it will have tickled some listeners' imaginations to explore further.
Meanwhile, I have revised my website at http://people.bath.ac.uk/bssadmr to
include the 'dress rehearsal' I wrote in advance of the interview, with a
little modification to bring out some points that clarified in the course
of the conversation. One of my metaphors that seems to have resonated with
listeners is the 'salt crystal looking for solution but scared of water'.
Warmest
Alan
