Nicole (and list),
Thanks for the clarification - most helpful. It's probably just me who
was confused - it's been a very long week, and the amount of christmas
music in every shop I go into now has officially made my brain go into
hibernate mode in an attempt to save what little sanity I have left!
:-).
I think the business model of "doing" FAM in an institution is really
a no-brainer, the things it enables make it a very attractive
philosophy and technology to adopt - be it by "doing" FAM in-house or
via something like the EduSurv gateway. The FTEs it's going to save
Cardiff from doing Classic Athens are not-insignificant, which is a
good enough business model on its own!
As for Service Providers, I totally agree with John and Phil said in
their replies - the business case is pretty solid for them. It's just
a matter of the time and effort that they put into doing it which will
effect when it's delivered...
R.
