Alan
Have you thought about a thematic issue of papers from Deformation in the
Desert? At a recent JSG editors meeting, it was suggested that you might be
interested in a Thematic Issue of JSG from the meeting. If you are
interested I'd be glad to let you know what's involved in getting an SI off
the ground. Starting now would give a great chance to get the volume out in
a very timely fashion. We managed to get the Paleostress volume finished
within 1.5 years of the meeting, and with the current publication times, I'm
sure it could be done in even quicker times.
I'll also be contacting you later this week with a request to circulate
SGTSG with notice of the breccias meeting that we are going to hold in TSV
two weeks before DITD.
