My name is Vicki Carter and I have just started work for the Document
Records Management section at Leeds City Council. We are starting an
options appraisal on a Document Records Management facility for semi-
current records and I wondered if you would be able to help us. I have a
few questions which I would be very grateful if you could answer for me in
order to give us a starting point.
1. Does your authority have in place a policy for dealing with semi-
current records?
2. Are these semi-current records stored on or off-site?
3. Are they managed by a private company or internally by
yourselves?
4. If they are held internally, are they held within council
facilities and are these new builds or existing facilities?
5. Do you have an EDRMS in place or plans for one in the future?
