Dear All
For anyone interested in booking a cheaper flight to the AAG.
Having checked the price of flights from London to San Francisco for the
AAG it is clear that you are able to get a much better deal if booking a
group ticket.
For example, for direct flights from London Heathrow to San Francisco
Virgin, BA, United etc are charging c£500 rtn inclusive if booked
individually (and even more if not staying the saturday night).
But the same flights can be had for £313 (inclusive of taxes and
surcharges) if booked on a group ticket.
A group of us at QMUL are therefore trying to make a group booking with
Virgin Atlantic. To qualify we need 10 people all on the same flights.
We are a few people short. If anyone would like to join the group and
qualify for the group rate could they please let me know asap?
Full details below:
Outbound: Tuesday 17th April
Leave London Heathrow 11am
Arrive SF 13.50pm
Return: Sunday 22nd April (or perhaps Saturday 21st April)
Leave SF 16.30
Arrive LHR 10.30am the following day
If anyone is interested in helping us make up the numbers please let me
know asap:
1. Interest - number of tickets wanted
2. Which return date they favour
I will then collate a group of 10 or more and book a group ticket,
returning on the most popular date. QMUl will be able to do the
accounts, if people can pay our department the full cost of their ticket
up front when I make the booking.
Hope we can get a group together
Jon
